A Quiet Struggle

Ms. Rivera prided herself on connecting with her students, especially those who struggled academically or socially. But one particular student seemed intent on testing her limits. The student would throw insults during class, often making derogatory comments. Ms. Rivera spoke with the administration multiple times, but the most they ever did was give the student a verbal warning.
